Ask Me

Client: “Honestly… I just want my house to feel calm.”
Me: I get that. We’re not aiming for a show home. We’ll sort the areas that stress you out the most and set things up so it feels lighter and easier to live in.

Client: “I’m always tidying, but it never stays tidy.”
Me: That’s usually because things don’t have proper ‘homes’, or the storage isn’t working. We’ll make it easier to put stuff away than to dump it somewhere.

Client: “Mornings are a nightmare. We can’t find anything.”
Me: Yep, classic. We’ll sort a proper spot for shoes, bags, coats and all the everyday bits, so you’re not doing a last-minute treasure hunt every morning.

Client: “I’d love to have people round without doing a mad panic clean.”
Me: Same. Let’s get you to a point where you can do a quick reset and feel fine about it. Usually it’s the hallway, kitchen and living room that make the biggest difference.

Client: “We’re always losing things. Keys, chargers… everything.”
Me: That’s a systems issue, not a you issue. We’ll decide where those things live, make it obvious, and keep it simple so everyone actually sticks to it.

Client: “This room just doesn’t work. The storage is there, but it’s a mess.”
Me: Totally normal. Half the time it’s just in the wrong place or it’s storing the wrong stuff. We’ll reorganise it so it makes sense for how you use the room.

Client: “Clutter makes me feel overwhelmed. Like my brain can’t switch off.”
Me: I hear this so often. We’ll clear the surfaces, calm the visual noise, and use storage in a way that feels tidy without you constantly faffing.

Client: “The spare room has turned into a dumping ground.”
Me: Spare rooms are always the first to go! We’ll get it usable again, then put a simple ‘no dumping’ set-up in place so it doesn’t fill back up in a week.

Client: “I want it to work for the whole family, not just me picking up after everyone.”
Me: Yes. We’ll set it up so it’s easy for everyone to follow. Nothing complicated, nothing ‘aesthetic’, just practical so the house runs smoother.

Client: “We’ve got a big change coming up… moving/renovating/baby.”
Me: That’s actually a great time to get organised. We’ll focus on what will make life easier straight away, and not try to do everything at once.

Client: “I’m a bit embarrassed. It’s gotten out of hand.”
Me: Please don’t be. This is way more common than you think, and I’m not judging. I’ll help you get started and we’ll just take it step by step.
